Great initiative! Could you please give a few details on the gps collar? (what GPS, battery life, how the cow supports it, etc..). I am going to do something like that here in Senegal. Thanks!

The spiral is a subtle reference to other Polak’ projects.. (see spiral sunrise) Here coincidentally it functions too as the compass wire. The compass needs to sit as far from the motors as possible to reduce magnetic interference, that’s why it is mounted on top of the sand-bottle.
