Seven sets of 12 mono-prints have been produced as a part of the NomadicMilk project. Each print is signed and numbered. Because of the special production process every print is unique, and can thus only be sold once.

The sets of prints visualize the mobility patterns of participants in the NomadicMilk project, and for that matter visualize the economy of the landscape. Each print has a caption that identifies the people whose routes it depicts.

Price:

The price per print is 750,- Euro, 1300,- Euro per two prints, 1850,- Euro for three prints and 4950,- Euro for a whole set of 12 prints (not including VAT; mailing costs in The Netherlands are included). Two adjoining prints have greater impact because of the tracks continuing through them.

As each print is unique, reproductions of all the prints are published on this page. You can pick individual prints here, as far as the prints are still available. The colors of the prints will be slightly different in real life because colors can not be matched exactly on computer screens.

Production Process
The NomadicMilk monoprints are made via a unique printing procedure. The robot is used to draw the sand tracks over pieces of canvas, in exactly the same way as it was done during the workshops in Nigeria. After the sand drawings are finished, graffiti spray paint is used to color the background. After a couple of hours of drying it is possible to remove the sand with a soft piece of cloth. This reveals a razor-sharp white image of the tracks, where every grain of sand stands out as a uniquely placed white pixel. See also blog posts, category monoprints.

Exhibition possibilities
In varying combinations the prints are part of the NomadicMilk installation. The installation is available for exhibition purposes, as are the prints on their own. Exhibition formats and constellations are flexible. For details please contact info(at)beelddiktee.nl
